About Tydfil Strollers

The main purpose of the blog is to create and maintain a record of both the group and individual walks that occur during the year, sometimes for nostalgic reasons or sometimes for more practical purposes (can’t think of any yet!). The group would welcome any feedback and comments from anyone who attends the walks, so that different personal perspectives can be obtained.

Just send a brief email containing a summary of your thoughts from the walk, which will be included in the main report.

All of our group have worked together in some capacity for the same employer in the past and are either still working with other group members or are ex-colleagues.

To be honest, the blog was initially started more as an experiment than anything else with the aim of supplying news on future walks and trip reports that would hopefully encourage other members to join the group after reading the enjoyment that walking provides to the soul and seeing any new photographs that may be added to accompany the trip report.

Since the blog started some slightly unrelated content has infiltrated its way in here too. It is now like a mixing bowl for different types of outdoor related information that has now started to attract visitors from outside our small circle of walkers.

Contrary to other popular blog’s Tydfil Strollers is not available on Twitter nor do we have a presence on Facebook, I can’t really see what all the fuss with social networking sites is about to be honest!!

I have no idea if any apps. are available for mobiles, iPhones and smaller laptops, but I expect that they could be set up if someone really clever has the time or the inclination.
